notas preliminares sobre as nuances de um verbo acadiano

Resumo

Este artigo apresenta os resultados preliminares de um mapeamento de ocorrências de uma raiz da língua acadiana, šrh, conhecida também por sua forma verbal padrão, šarāhu. A raiz tem sua principal acepção dentro do campo semântico do esplendor e da magnificência. Nas Inscrições Reais Assírias, essa raiz traz implicações com a luminosidade e a experiência visual, veiculando, assim defendemos, um significado material. Assim, há a associação entre o campo semântico do esplendor, portando conotações relativas à luz, ao brilho e à irradiação, e uma dimensão material.

    Doutor em ciências pelo Programa de História Social da Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas (FFLCH) da Universidade de São Paulo (USP). É pesquisador (pós-doutorado) junto à FFLCH-USP e ao Laboratório do Antigo Oriente Próximo (Laop-USP), com bolsa da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (Fapesp, processo nº 2018/13540-7 e nº 2019/16055-5).
