Resumo

Neste artigo, temos por objetivo analisar os fundamentos da reestruturação político-administrativa do Império Romano durante o governo de Diocleciano, considerando as pré-condições do século III, e as características que conformaram o poder imperial romano durante a época de Diocleciano e da Tetrarquia (284-305).
